From the organ’s history
1856, Joseph Seyberth – New organ.
1872, Jozef Demeter – Repairs following lightning damage.
1900 – Emanuel Maretka – Overhaul.
After the First World War, unknown organ builder – Overhaul and replacement of prospect pipes requisitioned at the end of the First World War by less valuable zinc pipes.
1957 – Josef Hlaváček – Overhaul combined with fitting an electric blower (in the church’s loft).
1999, Peter Franzen – Overhaul and fitting of a new electric blower.
2009, Peter Franzen, Slavomír Števček, Jan Kubát – General overhault.
Specification changes were made to the organ but we do not know when and to whom to attribute them. The instrument is preserved and also used for concerts and recording. It was heard in concert at the International Festival of Slovak Historic Organs II/1993 (two concerts), IV/1995, VI/1997 and XI/2002.
